Frequently Asked Questions

  • What forms of payment does Crews Backflow Services accept?​

    • We send invoices via QuickBooks so you can pay using the invoice link.  We also accept cash and checks.

  • Do I need to be present when the test is performed?

    • You do not need to be present for the test, but the water to the building will be turned off for about 10-15 minutes during the test.

  • What happens after the test is complete?

    • Once the device is tested, we will fill out a test report and we will send you a copy via email along with a receipt or invoice.

    • We will also send the test report directly to the city.

  • How long does a single device take to test?

    • The test itself, takes about 15-20 minutes.

  • What happens if my device fails?

    • If the device fails, it may need to be cleaned and retested.

    • If it fails again after being cleaned, it will likely need repair. 

    • In the event the device cannot be repaired the device may need to be replaced.
